If I've ever claimed to be artsy its from sheer appreciation, not creation.  I had my first pottery lesson at the historical Ban Bo Suak kiln site, in Thai nonetheless and I screwed up the clay so bad my first attempt it was unrepairable.  I had to move to an entirely different machine. What a mess. With the help of 3 different people I was able to create a cup I'm leaving for Jiew since it won't be burned for a month or so.

We stopped at the local market in the Suak Province and I saw live eel in a plastic bag, live catfish in a huge tub without water, cooked bugs and a few other things I've never seen before.
